A better fit for the feedback they needed
Hey Digital already had its people processes in place: weekly check-ins, twice-yearly reviews, and everyday peer recognition. When the cost of Lattice stopped matching the value they were getting, Operations Specialist Polina Piskovatskova looked for a tool that could support those routines.
The team ran these processes in Lattice, but found the feedback tooling complex to navigate. New joiners needed training to find their way around. Polina wanted a simpler experience that people could pick up quickly, with less explaining from Ops.
“By my calculations, we’re paying roughly 50% less for FeedbackPulse compared to Lattice.”
A supported move, with their history intact
Switching tools meant bringing the team’s existing feedback with them. FeedbackPulse helped with setup, the migration of previous reviews, onboarding team members, and running the first feedback cycle.
The move carried forward 28 historical review cycles, as well as weekly update and recognition history from Lattice, preserving years of employee feedback.
Polina puts onboarding and full setup at around 1.5 weeks. The team also prepared an internal guide so employees, managers, and Ops knew how to take part in their reviews.

“The switch itself was very easy because the FeedbackPulse team is extremely proactive and responsive.”
Remote-first, globally distributed.
That’s how Hey Digital describes its team: 45+ people across 22+ countries and 17+ time zones. Remote from day one, they work from the west coast of North America to Southeast Asia.
Hey Digital uses Weekly Surveys, 360 Reviews, Kudos and Constructive Feedback to keep regular check-ins, formal reviews, and day-to-day conversations in one place.
A check-in every Friday
The weekly survey gives people a recurring space to share how they’re feeling and how their week went. Bringing over their Lattice weekly updates kept earlier responses available alongside the new routine.

Twice-yearly cycles bring together self, manager, peer, and upward feedback. Managers select three peers, preferably across teams, and review questions connect feedback to Hey Digital’s own behavioral values.
Explore peer reviewsEveryday recognition, with room for detail
Hey Digital calls its peer-recognition practice “Karma.” Kudos gives teammates a place to recognize each other, while Constructive Feedback supports more detailed conversations between review cycles.
Their feedback also shaped the experience: longer messages and basic formatting gave people room to be specific, while admin notification controls reduced email noise. Polina particularly valued the Kudos Wall approval option.
Less explaining for Ops. An easier start for new joiners.
For Polina, the difference shows up in everyday use. New joiners find their way around quickly, and Ops gets fewer questions about where things live.
“New joiners are quick to understand everything because the platform is extremely intuitive, and we don't have people come to Ops anymore asking, ‘How do I find the thing I'm looking for?’”
“The platform is easy to navigate and the level of support FeedbackPulse offers made the experience not only simple, but also very joyful.”
