FeedbackPulse runs engagement surveys, 360 feedback and performance reviews in one platform for companies of 200 to 5,000 employees, with manager-level results that protect anonymity. It's built for the stage where HR can no longer talk to everyone, and managers have to carry the program.
Key takeaways
- FeedbackPulse fits companies of about 200 to 5,000 employees that want surveys, 360 feedback and reviews in one tool at one price.
- Managers see their own team and admins see everyone, and results stay locked until 3 people have responded on every department and location slice.
- The interface is simple enough that managers and employees use it without training.
- Start with a demo, pilot one department, then roll out company-wide.
What changes between 200 and 5,000 employees
Past 200 people, a few things stop working at once.
- Managers become the delivery layer. HR can't run every conversation, so the survey follow-up, the review and the 360 all depend on the line manager.
- Departments and sites need their own slices. A single company-wide score hides the team that's struggling, so leaders ask for results by department and location.
- HR is two to ten people, with no analyst. Whoever runs the program also answers the exec questions, so reports have to be readable without a data project.
- Leadership wants a read without a briefing. A snapshot they can open themselves beats a deck someone built at midnight.
The tool has to serve all four without adding a second system for each.
Surveys, 360 feedback and reviews in one platform
One platform means your eNPS trend, review history and team sentiment sit side by side, so you compare departments instead of reconciling exports.
- Engagement, pulse and eNPS surveys come with templates for pulse, onboarding, exit, eNPS, leadership and engagement checks, and you can build custom surveys. Recurring surveys are scheduled automatically. See engagement surveys.
- Performance reviews combine self, manager and peer input on scheduled cycles that close automatically, with goals that carry over between cycles on Max.
- 360 and peer feedback is built from self, manager and peer input. Reviewers can be nominated by the manager, the employee or an admin, or assigned at random, and nominations can be filtered by department and office location.
Reviews, 360 and manager reporting views are on Pro and Max.
Manager-level results that protect anonymity
This is the part mid-sized buyers ask about first, because a manager with a team of six can often guess who said what.
FeedbackPulse uses three roles: Admin, Manager and Employee. Managers see results for their own team. Admins see the whole organization. On every department and location slice, anonymous survey results stay locked until 3 people have completed the survey, and there is no admin override.
On top of that, admins and leaders get:
- A department eNPS heatmap to see where scores are strong or slipping.
- Trend comparisons across surveys and teams.
- A leadership snapshot for a quick company-wide read.
- Shareable report links, so a result can reach a department head without a new login.
- AI summaries of open-text comments, so a few hundred comments don't become a reading assignment.
Simple enough that nobody needs training
The interface is the lead reason managers actually use it. A manager reads team results in the browser, runs a review the same way, and an employee answers a survey without a guide.
Two integrations help with reach on Max. Slack delivers survey invitations and reminders as direct messages, with email as a fallback, and answers still happen in the browser. Microsoft Teams member import brings people in through Microsoft sign-in.
For frontline sites without a work email, a shared link and a QR code with Employee ID check-in handle one-off surveys. The same 3 response threshold applies. It isn't designed for recurring surveys.
Fit by company size
| Company size | What to prioritize | How FeedbackPulse fits |
|---|---|---|
| Under 200 | Fast setup, one person running it | See the Growing Companies page, which is written for this stage. |
| 200 to 1,000 | One program for managers to run, readable HR reporting | Strong fit. Managers get team views, HR gets department comparisons, and there's no separate 360 tool. |
| 1,000 to 5,000 | Slices by department and location, a clear access model | Strong fit. Department and location slices, manager-scoped results and a leadership snapshot cover multi-site reporting, and rollout runs department by department. |
| Frontline-heavy | Reaching people without company email | Shared link and QR code with Employee ID check-in for one-off surveys. Not for recurring pulses. |
| 5,000+ with complex governance | Matrixed permissions, long procurement, heavy customization | An enterprise suite usually fits better. |

Frequently asked questions
What size company is FeedbackPulse built for?
FeedbackPulse is built for companies of about 200 to 5,000 employees that want engagement surveys, 360 feedback and performance reviews in one platform. The fit table on this page shows where it fits well and where it gets tight.
Can managers see only their own team?
Yes. There are three roles, Admin, Manager and Employee. Managers see results for their own team and admins see the whole organization. On every department and location slice, results stay locked until 3 people have responded, and no admin can override that.
How does pricing work above 10 people?
Pro is $4 and Max is $8 per employee per month, billed annually. Enterprise pricing is custom and built around your team size and rollout. Paid seats above 10 are set up with us, so the first step is a short conversation about your structure.
Can we pilot before rolling out?
Yes. Start with a free pilot of one team of up to 10 people to see how managers and employees respond. Reviews, 360 and manager reporting views are on paid plans, and a demo is the quickest way to plan a pilot that includes them before you go company-wide.
Does it handle surveys, 360 and reviews together?
Yes. Engagement, pulse and eNPS surveys run next to performance reviews and 360 feedback built from self, manager and peer input. Results sit in one place, so you can compare departments without exporting data from separate tools.
What about security reviews and procurement?
Data is hosted in the EU by default, FeedbackPulse acts as a GDPR processor and offers a data processing agreement, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. People sign in with Google or Microsoft. Our infrastructure providers hold their own certifications, including ISO 27001 for Hetzner (hosting) and SOC 2 Type II for Cloudflare. FeedbackPulse's own ISO certification is in progress (application started October 2026). The Enterprise plan includes security reviews and custom SLAs.
Does it replace our HRIS?
No. FeedbackPulse sits next to your HRIS. It covers surveys, 360 feedback and performance reviews, and it isn't a system of record for payroll, benefits or employee records.
